Redeem Ministries is a network of individuals who, out of love for God and those burdened by religion, desire to reintroduce you to God, help you build a joyful relationship with him, and live the abundant life that He promises us.
What We’re About: We’re aware that many people are burned out by religion. Whether it’s from the endless rule-keeping, the constant social pressure, or the red tape required to navigate in order to enjoy the blessings of salvation, tens of thousands in The Valley are ready to give up on religion, but not on God. In these people, there’s a kind of dissatisfaction and letdown with their faith. Despite its rich history, extensive social network, and detailed religious activity, it’s failed to actually connect them with God in a way that doesn’t break their back with rules and requirements.
They question whether this is the religion Jesus promised when he said that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. They question why, if God is their heavenly Father, does he require so many rules in order to relate with him and enjoy the blessings of his family. And often, they wonder if they’ll measure up in the end, whether they’re celestial material, and what happens if they’re just not able to do all they can do. Maybe you’re one of those in that multitude.
Whether it’s you or someone you know who has grown up in this kind of background, we’d love to help. Our desire is to reintroduce people to the good news of Jesus, the good news of real hope, of real forgiveness, of a real relationship with God. We’re ready to help you think through the hard questions of life and faith, about the Bible, and all the other questions you’ve never had the chance to ask.
