Rich preaches about the Passover, the final plague on Egypt. The Israelites sacrificed lambs, the Egyptians sacrificed sons, and God sacrificed a Lamb and a Son. Find out about God’s sacrifice, and how we can say with confidence that we won’t face God’s wrath, that it’s “Him, not me.”
Rich walks through Exodus 8:20-10:29 as Pharaoh receives more warnings from God through the plagues, yet he doesn’t heed the warnings. God issues everyone a similar warning — believe in Jesus or face the wrath of God; will you heed the warning?
At the end of the recording is a special tribute to Rich and his wife Tiffany, as this marks his 300th preached sermon at Sovereign Grace Church in Gilbert!
Rich talks about the difference between “hearing” and “listening” as he begins a foray into the plagues that God sent to reveal his power to Pharaoh and the Egyptians. Yet Pharaoh’s heart remains hard. Listen as Rich gives a few ways in which to combat a hard heart in your own life.

Rich preaches from Exodus 4:18-31, citing how our perception of God is often diminished and we need to look at difficult passages such as this to see the otherness of our God – he is not like us, nor should he be, but he is still good.

Well, see how God “played the music” in Moses’ life, and how God revealed his promises despite Moses’ feeble excuses. Rich preaches from Exodus 3:16-4:17, reminding us that God’s promises are the background music to our life.
Jason preached on Sunday from a well-known passage in Exodus 3:1-15. Find out how the burning bush is an amazing revelation of God — the I AM, Jehovah, Yahweh — and how it’s just a foreshadowing of God’s greater revelation in the person of Jesus Christ.
40 years have passed, and now Moses is a grown man. Listen to this message from Exodus 2:11-25 to find out how Moses is being prepared by God to be the deliverer, and how when the people cry out to God, he works on their behalf. God hears. God remembers. God sees. And God knows.
This Sunday Rich began the new series in the book of Exodus, God our Deliverer. He started the message by listing 4 reasons to study Exodus:
